4 pilot areas set up for the study “Early Flood Warning and Risk Communication”
In order to find a big variety of types of observation sites for our study, twelve districts were visited in the towns of Niamey and Gaya in Niger, and of Malanville in Benin with our collegues of the National
Focus Structure and of the National Coordination of Users of Natural Resources of the Niger Basin.
That permitted us to exchange ideas with the authorities of the communes and those of the concerned areas.
