The Niger Basin Authority (NBA) is organizing its 12th Summit of Heads of State and Government on May 29, 2021 in Abuja, Nigeria.
As a prelude to the Summit, there will be the Technical Committee of Experts which will be held from May 24 to 26, 2021 in the conference room of Ajuji Hotels in Abuja. It will be followed by the Extraordinary Council of Ministers of the ABN on May 27, 2021 in the meeting room of FRASER SUITES in Central Area in Abuja.
The items on the agenda of the Technical Committee of Experts are:

• 1. Presentation of the current state of institutional and organizational audit;
• 2. Presentation of the roadmap for the implementation of the organization chart adopted by Resolution No. 5 of the 39th ordinary session of the Council of Ministers;
• 3. Note on the Construction of the ABN Headquarters;
• 4. Note on the Operational Plan: Decision on large dams (FOMI), Annex 5 of the Niger Basin Water Charter; Evolution of the establishment of the ad Hoc Committee - FRACC / PSE; State of implementation of the decisions of the 11th Summit of Heads of State and Government;
• 5. Note on the development of the European Union file;
• 6. Examination of the two (2) draft Internal Regulations of the Technical Committee of Experts (CTE) and of the Council of Ministers (CM) of the ABN.
